Month at a Glance: October

Hello, Friends!

Things at the 11th apartment have been going pretty great. I am very much enjoying blogging, and the blog itself has been doing well. I so appreciate those of you that have been reading and sharing. It means a lot of me to see the readership growing. Thank you for following along!

Although I have been blogging since last February, the 11th still feels very new. I'm just now getting the hang of photographing my projects and writing regular posts. Lately things have started to fall into place and I feel more excited than ever to be keeping up the blog. In addition to bi-weekly posts, I am going to do a 'Month at a Glance' post on the first day of every month. The change of a season always thrills and inspires me. And as we move through the year, I'd love for you to know what you can expect to see on the blog each month. Of course, I don't want to ruin all my surprises, but I'll give you a glimpse at my planned projects and I'll always divulge what it is that excites me most about each particular month.

With that said, when it comes to waxing poetic on months and seasons, there couldn't be a better time to start than October. October has to be one of the best months of the year. It's a month of spiced lattes and pumpkins, corn mazes and halloween costumes, sweater weather and dark cozy evenings! What more could I ask for in only 31 days?

This month on the blog, you can expect the following:

Late Autumn Canning Recipes
These recipes are less about fresh produce and more about nuts, liqueurs etc.
and they make great Christmas gifts! It's never to early to get started...

Our Campbell Salsa Recipe
I'll have it posted while the tomatoes are still in season

The Foyer Before + After
Probably the biggest project in the apartment and it's finally done!
I can't wait to share it!

Autumn Floral Arrangement Ideas

Sparkling Cranberries: A Perfect Thanksgiving Treat

A Simple Furniture DIY
A project so easy it only takes one afternoon

Cuz it's fall, and fall means baking!
