Making Accordian Fold Bows

Hello! If you read yesterday's post on holiday gift wrapping, you may have noticed my sexy accordion fold bow in one of the photos. These little circles are easy to make and they are a trendy alternative to the old dollar store ribbon bows. See for yourself:

Step 1: Cut out a length of paper. Mine is about 12 inches by 1.5 inches. Step 2: Create an accordion fold across the entire length. Step 3: Use a hot glue gun to glue the ends of the paper together in order to form a circle. Step 4: On a flat surface, press the folds down to create the bow. (This may take some figuring, but once you get the hang of it, it's fairly simple). Finish by putting a bit of hot glue in the centre of the circle. Hold it together until the glue has dried. You may finish the bow by adding a little something in the centre.

Ta da!
